What PlatformDTC does
PlatformDTC does not connect to Adyen; its checkout runs on Stripe and PayPal. Its checkout prices every cart on its own server and never takes the amount from the shopper's browser, which rules out tampered amounts on PlatformDTC checkouts.
Why it happens
On the integration side, an amount sent in the wrong format or currency can trigger it.
On the card side, Adyen notes some debit and prepaid cards (Cirrus, Maestro) and cards blocked for online purchases decline with raw 13 Invalid amount.
What the shopper can do
Try a different card, ideally a credit card or a debit card enabled for online purchases.
What the store can do
Confirm the amount is in minor units for the currency you send, and that captures and refunds do not exceed the authorized amount.
