What PlatformDTC does
PlatformDTC does not connect to Adyen; its checkout runs on Stripe and PayPal. The same answers arrive as Stripe's stop_payment_order and revocation_of_authorization codes; PlatformDTC never retries them and treats raw R0, R1 and R3 as a hard stop.
Why it happens
The cardholder told their bank to stop payments to the merchant, for one recurring payment (R0) or all of them (R1, R3).
What the shopper can do
If you want to keep the subscription, contact the store and set up payment again.
What the store can do
Do not re-attempt. Visa fines every reattempt on category 1 responses, and continuing to bill after a stop order invites disputes.
