What PlatformDTC does

PlatformDTC does not connect to Adyen; its checkout runs on Stripe and PayPal. On its Stripe rail PlatformDTC reads raw 61 as a limit that clears with time: renewals get up to four attempts on a +2/+5/+8 day schedule, without the insufficient-funds wording in customer emails.

Why it happens

Issuers cap how much can be spent on a card in a period. This payment would have pushed the card over that cap.

What the shopper can do

Ask your bank to raise the limit, wait for it to reset, or pay with another card.

What the store can do

Retry later, not straight away. Visa allows up to 15 reattempts in 30 days for raw 61.

For developers
