What PlatformDTC does
PlatformDTC checkout does not offer Amazon Pay today, even on stores that have it switched on in their Stripe account: the express row shows Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and, where eligible, Klarna. Stripe offers Amazon Pay to businesses in the US and 16 European countries.
How a shopper pays with Amazon Pay
The shopper selects Amazon Pay, signs in on Amazon's hosted page and completes the payment with the shipping and payment details saved in their Amazon account. Once Amazon authorises it, Stripe confirms the payment immediately and the shopper returns to your order confirmation page. Signing in to Amazon is the shopper's authentication.
- In the US, Amazon Pay can also be funded by Amazon Store Card, Amazon Store Card Installments, Amazon Visa Card Installments, Citi Flex Pay, Affirm and Shop with Points.
- In the supported European countries other than the UK, it can also be funded by SEPA Direct Debit.
Refunds, disputes and A-to-z Guarantee claims
When a dispute opens, Stripe holds back the disputed amount and the dispute fee. Amazon Pay decides within 90 days after you submit evidence. An A-to-z Guarantee claim covers late delivery or item condition, follows the same process with a shorter deadline, and carries no dispute fee.
| Event | Deadline |

| You issue a refund | Within 90 days of the payment |
