What PlatformDTC does
PlatformDTC does not connect to Braintree. Stripe's currency_not_supported is about the shopper's card, not the merchant account, and PlatformDTC never retries it; Braintree's account currency setup has no counterpart there.
Why it happens
The transaction used a currency your merchant account is not configured for.
What the store can do
Contact Braintree, or present prices in a supported currency.
For developers
Braintree returns processor_response_code 2064 with processor_response_text “Invalid Currency Code” and processor_response_type “hard_declined” on the Transaction object.
