Swish for online stores: how Swedish shoppers pay with Swish
Checked
Swish is Sweden's everyday mobile payment, in use since 2012. At an online checkout the shopper is sent to the Swish app on mobile, or scans a QR code on desktop, and confirms with Swedish BankID within three minutes; the result is immediate. Payments are in kronor from 3 to 150,000 SEK. Swish has no chargebacks and no recurring payments, refunds are allowed for 365 days, and on Stripe, Stripe itself is the recipient the shopper sees.

How a shopper pays with Swish
On a phone the shopper is redirected to the Swish app; on a computer they scan a QR code with it. They confirm with BankID within three minutes, see the confirmation in Swish, and return to your site. If they run out of time, the payment can be tried again.
