How do Czech shoppers pay online?
Checked
Czech shoppers pay online by card and by bank transfer, often using QR Platba, a QR format that follows the Czech Banking Association standard. The payer scans the code and the payment order fills itself in in their banking app; banks such as Česká spořitelna, ČSOB, Komerční banka, Fio banka, Air Bank, Raiffeisenbank and mBank support it. Klarna offers pay in full, pay later and pay in 3 in Czech koruna.

What PlatformDTC does
PlatformDTC checkout does not offer QR Platba bank transfers today. Czech shoppers can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal in koruna, or Klarna on one-time orders from CZK 1 to CZK 100,000 when the store's Stripe account is in the EEA, UK or Switzerland.
How QR Platba works
The shopper photographs the QR code on an invoice or payment page with their banking app, which fills in the account, amount and reference. The store then waits for the transfer to arrive.
Klarna in koruna
Klarna in the Czech Republic is charged in CZK, with pay later up to CZK 12,250 and pay in 3 from CZK 25 to CZK 25,000.
