Online versus in person

Square is built around in-person selling, and its in-person rates are usually lower than its online rates. These pages cover online and remote payments only: Online Store, Online Checkout, the eCommerce API, invoices, typed-in cards and saved cards.

Square and PlatformDTC

Square cannot be connected to PlatformDTC checkout. Each country page shows the same month on PlatformDTC with your own Stripe account, which carries no PlatformDTC fee, so you can see which costs less for your sales.
