What PlatformDTC does

PlatformDTC checkout does not offer Swish today. Swedish shoppers can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal in kronor, or Klarna on one-time orders from SEK 1 to SEK 100,000 when the store's Stripe account is in the EEA, UK or Switzerland.

How Swish works

On a phone the shopper is sent to the Swish app; on a computer they scan a QR code. They approve with Swish and BankID. Swish serves only shoppers in Sweden and is charged in kronor.

Klarna at home

Stripe notes that Sweden, Germany and the US are the only countries where Klarna's pay later can be used for subscriptions. PlatformDTC keeps Klarna off subscription carts everywhere, so Swedish subscribers pay by card, wallet or PayPal.
