Diners Club cards for online stores: acceptance and setup
Checked
Diners Club International is one of the three brands in Discover Global Network, alongside Discover and PULSE. Stripe groups it with Discover: accounts in the US, Canada, Japan, the UK, Switzerland and most EEA countries can accept Diners Club cards from cardholders anywhere, with 3D Secure and Apple Pay and Google Pay support. There is no separate contract to sign on Stripe; if your account country is on the list, Diners Club cards simply work in the card form.

What PlatformDTC does
PlatformDTC checkout takes Diners Club cards wherever the store's Stripe account can, and the owner can refuse Diners Club by itself under Settings, Payments, Payment methods, Cards while keeping Discover, JCB and UnionPay switched on.
How Diners Club works online
A shopper types the card into the card form or pays from a wallet. Stripe sends it over the Discover Global Network. Refunds, disputes and 3D Secure follow the same steps as any card payment on Stripe.
Blocking Diners Club
In Stripe's own Payment Element filter, Discover, Diners, JCB, UnionPay and Elo are blocked together as one group. PlatformDTC checks the brand on its server before the payment exists, so a store can refuse Diners Club alone.
