What PlatformDTC does
PlatformDTC classifies Checkout.com 200N7 as never retry. Checkout does not offer a backup processor for it, because the same card or the same details fail the same way everywhere. A subscription renewal declined with 200N7 is never retried: the subscription is held past due and the customer is emailed a link to add a new card.
Why it happens
A mistyped or old CVV, or someone using card numbers without the physical card.
What the shopper can do
Check the code on the back (or front for American Express) and enter it again.
What the store can do
Show the error on the CVV field. Many CVV failures from one visitor in a short time are a card-testing signal.
For developers

Checkout.com's Visa table puts this code in category 4, which it pairs with recommendation code 02 (try again later); read processing.recommendation_code on the response.
