What PlatformDTC does
PlatformDTC checkout does not offer Riverty today. Klarna fills the same role on one-time orders: up to €10,000 in Germany, Austria, Belgium and Finland, €5,000 in the Netherlands, CHF 5,000 in Switzerland and 100,000 kronor or kroner in Sweden, Norway and Denmark; cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal work too.
How pay by invoice works
At checkout the shopper chooses a 14- or 30-day term, receives the order, and pays the full amount in one payment afterwards, with nothing upfront and no installments. With monthly invoice, each purchase is added to a running total; orders and returns update it, and Riverty sends one statement at the end of the period. Available terms can differ by country.
What it means for your store
Once a transaction is completed, Riverty pays the store whether or not the customer pays, and takes over credit checks, reminders and collection. For monthly invoice, Riverty says it takes over the customer's debt and pays you on each accepted transaction. Riverty also sells debt collection services to merchants separately.
Frequently asked questions

- Yes. Riverty says it guarantees merchant payout once a transaction is completed, regardless of whether the customer pays.

- Klarna on one-time orders from €1 to €10,000, which includes Klarna's own pay later in 30 days option, plus cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal in euros.
