What PlatformDTC does
PlatformDTC connects your own PayPal business account in Mexico: the PayPal button at checkout, and PayPal card processing for cards typed into your checkout. PlatformDTC adds no fee to those sales, so the MX$200,000 month above costs the same MX$8,700.00 on PlatformDTC, with no plan fee. PayPal card processing can also act as the backup when a card is declined on PlatformDTC Payments or your own Stripe account.
Every rate
Every rate below is copied from PayPal's fee page for Mexico, read on 31 October 2026. Each percentage is charged on the full payment, and the fixed fee of MX$4.00 is added to each payment received in Mexican pesos. Payments in other currencies carry that currency's own fixed fee from PayPal's table.
PayPal Mexico states that every amount and percentage on its fee page is subject to VAT (IVA), so add VAT to each fee here.

A worked month
Assumption: an average order of MX$1,000.00, every payment in Mexican pesos, no refunds or disputes.
MX$200,000.00 of sales in 200 domestic PayPal payments: 3.95% of MX$200,000.00 = MX$7,900.00; 200 × MX$4.00 = MX$800.00; total MX$8,700.00 (4.35% of sales).
MX$1,000,000.00 of sales in 1,000 domestic PayPal payments: 3.95% of MX$1,000,000.00 = MX$39,500.00; 1,000 × MX$4.00 = MX$4,000.00; total MX$43,500.00 (4.35% of sales).
The table adds the same months with a fifth of sales coming from outside Mexico, where PayPal adds 0.5% to the percentage on those payments only.
Add VAT to every total, as PayPal Mexico's fee page states.
