v1.91
Markets: sell in local currencies
Shoppers abroad see your prices and pay in their own currency. Your orders, payouts and reports stay in your store currency. Off until you turn it on.
- Settings → Markets: group countries into markets, each with its own currency, Stripe's live exchange rate or a fixed rate, a price adjustment and rounding (.99, .95, whole numbers, or the nearest 10 / 100 / 1,000).
- Storefront: prices convert to the shopper's currency, with a country / currency selector in the footer.
- Checkout: cart, discounts, shipping and total are shown and charged in the market currency, following the shipping country.
- Orders: booked in your store currency; the order page shows what the customer paid in theirs. Refunds go back in the customer's currency at the order's own rate.
- Turning Markets on never changes a price in your store currency. Subscriptions, membership pricing and PayPal stay in your store currency.
