Loyalty & Rewards

• Loyalty & Rewards in Customers → Loyalty. Customers earn points for orders (on the subtotal after discounts), signing up, verified reviews, their birthday and referring friends. Refunds and cancellations take an order's points back. Off until you turn it on, and orders placed before that don't earn. See Loyalty & Rewards.
• Spend points at checkout. Signed-in customers see Use 1,000 points for 10.00 off and add it in one tap. You set the rate, the minimum, and the most of an order points can cover. The reward is a normal discount code on the order, so tax, refunds and reports work as usual.
• Points on subscription renewals. Customers can put points on their next renewal. They come off after your renewal price cap, and wait for the retry if a payment fails.
• VIP tiers by points earned or money spent, lifetime or per calendar year, with a points multiplier and a one-time welcome reward (an amount off or free shipping).
• Referrals. Every member gets a link; friends get a welcome discount; the member earns points when the friend's first order is paid. Self-referrals, existing customers, and orders paid with the member's card or shipped to the member's address don't earn.
• Points expiry after a period of no activity, with a warning email 30 days before. Off by default.
• Members: every balance and full points history, and Adjust points with a reason. A customer's page shows their balance and tier.
• Rewards page in the customer account: balance, tier progress, get a reward, codes, points on a subscription, referral link, birthday and history.
• Emails for points earned, new tier, referral reward, points expiring and the friend's welcome code, in Settings → Notifications under Accounts and outreach.
• PlatformDTC Loyalty & Rewards is listed in the App Store.

New for developers and agents

• Agent Gateway /loyalty/* and MCP tools dtc_loyalty_get_program, dtc_loyalty_update_program, dtc_loyalty_program_stats, dtc_loyalty_list_members, dtc_loyalty_get_member, dtc_loyalty_adjust_points. Agent adjustments worth more than 50.00 need the merchant's confirmation.
• Discount codes can carry a minimum order (applies_to.min_subtotal_cents); checkout refuses the code below it.
