PayPal disputes answered with real delivery proof

PlatformDTC now answers PayPal disputes with the delivery carrier's tracking, the delivered scan and the full scan history, and waits for the parcel to land before it replies.

New

  • Unauthorised-payment, cancelled-subscription and refund disputes are answered too, not only "item not received". Each one gets the proof that wins that kind of case. See How PayPal disputes are answered for you.
  • Proof is sent once the parcel is delivered, at the latest 36 hours before PayPal's deadline, with a PDF of every carrier scan. At the question stage the buyer is told where the parcel is straight away.
  • Each dispute now says what kind it is: PayPal claim, bank chargeback (paid with PayPal), card chargeback or card alert. It also shows one line on what we sent or are waiting for. Cases that need you, such as a customer who asked to cancel before the charge, show in red.
  • Chargeback insights gains Where they come from, and your win rate with and without a reply for each reason.

Fixed

  • PayPal cases that PayPal paid out itself (Seller Protection) were counted as lost, and the order showed a refund. The money was returned to you, so they now count as won and the order is no longer marked refunded.
  • USPS and UPS delivery numbers are now sent to PayPal even when the tracking service didn't name the carrier.
