Your own tax rates at checkout
Charge a tax rate you set yourself, by country, without Stripe Tax setup.
New
- Custom tax rates in Settings → Taxes. Give a rate a name, a percentage and the countries it applies to. Shoppers in those countries see it as its own line at checkout, for example VAT 20%, and every order records it. Several rates for one country all apply. You choose whether Stripe Tax still works out tax everywhere else. See Sales tax.
Fixed
- The tax rate now shows next to each tax line in the checkout order summary. It was dropped before.
