v1.167
Cancel requests by email get your cancel page
When a customer emails to cancel, the support agent now sends your cancel page, with your save offer next to a one-click cancel, instead of cancelling on the spot.
New
- The cancel page by email. The customer can say why they're leaving and see the save offer you set for that reason. Click to cancel is always there and cancels on the first click. See Cancel requests by email.
- Nobody is charged while a link sits unread. If the customer doesn't use the link, the agent cancels for them within 24 hours, or 2 hours before their next charge if that's sooner, and tells them in the same thread.
- Saves and cancels from email on the Retention screen, with the source Email.
Changed
- The cancel link in renewal reminder emails opens the same page.
- The agent still cancels at once when the customer asks a second time, mentions their bank or a chargeback, or their next charge is less than 2½ hours away.
Fixed
- The confirm page for skip, pause and delay links showed shoppers a line meant for developers. It now shows the normal wording in their language.
