Shipping rates by country, and free shipping over an amount

Charge different shipping for different countries or US states, and give free shipping once an order reaches an amount.

  • Settings → Shipping. Group countries or states into zones, each with its own rates and an optional delivery time shown at checkout. See Charge shipping by country.
  • Free shipping over an amount. A free rate that shows once the products in the cart reach your amount. The storefront cart counts down to it: "Spend $12 more for free shipping".
  • Order-size and weight conditions on any rate.
  • Nothing changes until you save a zone. Your current rates stay on as "Everywhere else".
  • Your auto-written shipping policy lists each zone's rates.

New for agents

  • dtc_list_shipping_zones, dtc_upsert_shipping_zone and dtc_delete_shipping_zone. Changes show the before and after and wait for the merchant's confirmation.
  • dtc_get_checkout_settings returns shipping_by_zone. Once a store uses zones, dtc_update_checkout_settings refuses shipping_options.
