v1.189
Each customer gets their own version of your email
Turn on Personal picks in an email campaign and each customer sees the product they're most likely to want, gets your discount code only if they need it, and receives the email at the hour they usually read.
New
- Personal picks on the last step of the email campaign editor. For each customer:
- Product: one they're due to buy again (based on how often your customers reorder it), one they looked at and didn't buy, or one that is often bought with what they bought. Otherwise the product you chose for the campaign. Only products with a photo that are in stock.
- Your discount code: only for customers who stopped buying, usually buy with a discount, or recently left a checkout. Customers who pay full price don't see it. We never create a code or make a discount bigger.
- Send time: the hour they usually open or click your emails, in their own time zone when we know it, between 7am and 10pm, within 24 hours of sending.
- Send only to people likely to open: skips customers with no open, click or order in the last 90 days (you can choose 30 to 365). On by default for lists of 1,000 or more. Before you send, the preview shows how many people will get the email, how many are skipped and a few example picks.
- Two new blocks for your email: Featured product and Personal offer. A customer with no pick sees nothing there.
Worth knowing
- 1 in 10 customers gets the same email as everyone else, so you can see what personal picks earn. After sending, the campaign page shows opens, clicks, orders and sales per 1,000 emails for each group, counting orders in the 14 days after the send.
