v1.162

Get paid first: a two-step setup, and Accept a payment on Orders

A new account is two steps from a first sale: set up payments, then make a checkout link.

Changed

  • The setup guide on Home now has two steps: Set up payments, then Create your first checkout link. Adding products, taking your storefront live, the design, shipping, your AI and your domain are all under one Optional row. See Set up your store.
  • Accept a payment is the blue button on Orders. It opens full screen: pick a product you already sell or add a new one with a picture and description, choose one-time or recurring, and see your store's real checkout while you type.
  • Finance sits under Operations, with Payouts and Fees.
  • If we can't open your payments account, the message now says why instead of "check your details".
  • The App Store shows Open for an app your store already has, instead of Install.
  • The reminder email matches the new setup. Once your payments are on, the email we send asks you to create your first checkout link, with one button to Accept a payment, instead of asking you to add a product. It never comes on the same day as a Turn on payments reminder.

Kept working

  • Every page address still opens the same screen.
