Accept a payment, and a clearer Get paid screen

Get a working checkout link from one screen, and see at a glance whether you can take cards and get paid.

  • Accept a payment. Orders → Accept a payment (also on Home): name, price, one-time or recurring, Create checkout link. No product to set up first; a live preview shows the checkout as you type. You get the link and, for one-time prices, the code for your website. See Checkout URLs.
  • Two plain lines on the payments screen. Take card payments and Get paid to your bank, each On, Needs your details, Being checked, Paused or Off. See Set up PlatformDTC Payments.
  • A turned-down account says so. If our payments partner turns an account down, the screen, the payouts page and your notifications say plainly that card payments and payouts are off, instead of calling it a routine review.
  • Buyers are told when a store can't take payments yet. The checkout shows This store isn't taking payments yet at the top, instead of a payment section with nothing in it.
