Ring up a sale

Search your catalog by name or scan a barcode. Prices always come from your products. Add a custom item with its own price, discount the whole cart by a percentage or a fixed amount with a reason, and attach an existing customer or create one at the counter.

Take payment

• Card on a paired smart reader, paid through PlatformDTC Payments at your plan's normal card rate.
• Cash, with the change worked out for you.
• Split a sale between card and cash.

Locations and tax

Run as many locations as you need. Each has its own address, tax rate (tax-inclusive pricing supported), readers and an optional inventory location. Tax-exempt customers pay no tax.

Cash drawer

Open a drawer with a float, record pay-ins and pay-outs, then close it with a count and see the variance. Closed sessions keep their history.

Receipts and refunds

Email a receipt or print it from the browser. Refund to the original card or in cash, and restock the items if you choose.

Before you start

Card payments need an active PlatformDTC Payments account. Card readers are ordered through our sales team. Cash sales work before a reader arrives. There is no offline mode: the register needs an internet connection.
